Back again

It happens to all of us life gets busy and blogging goes on the back burner. I had a little time today and wanted to share some pics from our last camping trip. There is definitely a drought in Texas when you visit a family fishing pond and it is all dried up! But we were lucky the fire ban was lifted for the Thanksgiving weekend and we could a least do a charcoal fire and some Smores. Can't go camping without making smores!

Fishing was not great due to the low water levels, places to fish for kids were not easily found. BUt we always find ways to entertain ourselves. The boys loved that our friends brought along their geocashing stuff....treasure hunting is perfect for boys. And then there is the giant rope swing that Papa created. Lots of fun on that.

With hiking and bike riding (both twins off training wheels now, Yeah!) we fill our time and have lots of fun. Even when relaxing in our hammock. Camping is good times!
